Beaveree will be held this year on Saturday, May 01, at Camp McLean, South Langley.   Registration usually begins at 9am. Event usually runs 10am-330pm approximately. For specific info on this year's event, go to www.fraservalley.scouts.ca/beavers/beaveree.htm At the Beaveree over 600 Beavers rotate through 10-15 fun activity stations throughout the day, including a Hug-A-Tree Station (usually).  Bring a lunch & a tarp to sit on (or under).  You may want to designate a meeting place for anyone who gets lost.  One leader could carry a tall pole with long ribbons, flag tape or balloons on it.  Each Beaver should have a card in their pocket which has their full name & their leader's full real name and cell phone number.  You may want to identify your youths somehow so that you can spot them easier in the sea of Beavers which will be there (pompoms, flag tape, etc.).   Can you spare an hour or two while you're there on site?   All Scouters are invited to help out, whether they are Beaver leaders or not. If your group, district/area etc. has any ideas, please share them with us.
