Beaver / Parent Camp Planning Meeting January

Starts: January 2, 2019  @  8 p.m.
Ends: 10 p.m.
All groups planning on attending the Parent / Beaver Camp at McLean, MUST have a representative at all of the planning meetings.  This can be a leader or parent.  The planning meetings are typically 8-10pm on the first Wednesday of each month, from November up until the actual camp (except December).  The next meeting is Jan 10th, 8 PM at St. Andrews, 20955 Old Yale Rd. in Langley. Surrey Eagles Hockey Game

Starts: January 13, 2019
Nicomekl Area Beavers/Cubs/Scouts/Venturers/Rovers will be making their way to the 3rd Annual Scout Night with the Surrey Eagles Hockey Team.  We will be watching the hockey game and cheering on the Surrey Eagles followed by a free skate with some of the players.  Also, the Group with the most tickets sold will have the honour of presenting the Canadian and Scouting flags at the beginning of the game. Beaver Buggy Rally

Starts: February 9, 2019  @  1 p.m.
Ends: February 9, 2019  @  3:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 9th, St. Nicholas Parish 20675 87 Ave. Langley Doors open at 1:00 PM for track set up. Cub Scout First Aid Day

First Aid Day for Cub Scouts       The information regarding this event is now available on ScoutsTracker and you can register your Pack online via http://www.24mv.ca/cfad.  This year will be an all day event from 9:30 to 4:00 pm and will cover elements from both the Emergency Aid Skills as well as the Cub First Aid Badge.  Cost is $10 per Cub (includes passport, snack, event badge and Cub First Aid Badge) and $ TBA per Scouter (event badge and snack).  NOTE:  Event is limited to 200 Cubs so register early and this is a Cub ONLY event.  First ...

  Kub Kar Rally 2019 ----------------------------------- Kub Kar Rally 2019 will be held on the same day as Scout Truck Rally in February.  Same location – St. Nicholas Catholic Church 20675 87 Ave, Langley - but from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  Saves on hauling out the tracks twice in two weeks!!  Cubs will set up the tracks in the morning and Scouts will take them down at the end of the day – only took us about 20 years to figure out this system that will make our lives easier!   Registration Deadline is January Scouters' Club. Beaver Scout Campfires

The Area campfires will be March 19 for groups which normally meet Monday / Tuesday, and March 20 for groups which normally meet Wednesday / Thursday.  We will gather at 6:30 pm at the archery shelter, and ignition will be at 7 pm.  Hot chocloate and snacks at approximately 7:50 pm.---------------------------------------- Chief for March 19th is Rob Salmon. Ponder Park Work Weekend

Starts: March 22, 2019

Location: Ponder Park
Ponder Park Work Weekend         Bring your youths, camp for free, and do some trail clearing, carpentry, painting, etc. There are many other clean-up related chores to be done as well. Come for a couple of hours or stay all weekend. All sections are welcome. Free coffee & juice (bring your own mugs).
