to a story about a man named Jim,
A brave Cub leader who once had a whim
To run a week-long Summer Camp full of 64 Wolf Cubs,
And teach 'em archery, canoeing, and use pools as bathtubs.
(And waterslides... Firefighters... Fun stuff you see...) |

Next thing
you know, he's been there 15 years.
He's managed to keep his sanity -- but he's lost a few gray hairs!
He signed up his best staff for full decade,
But what he forgot to tell them was -- they're not getting paid!
(In cash that is... They get free room and board...) |
Well, now
it's time to shout hurray for Jim and his idea.
We hope you'll all come back - we'd really like to see ya
All next year for a Cub Odyssey, and my Lordy,
Perhaps you'll even return to help us celebrate our 30!
(Years that is... You'll be adults then... Jim will be... well
never mind!) |
