Rainforest Reptile Refuge
Founded in 1986 by Clarence & Christine Schramm, this reptile collection has grown enormous. They established their facilty because of a great need for a permanent shelter for abused and unwanted exotic reptiles and amphibians. R.R.R. is a non-profit Society in B.C. and it is also a registered Federal Charity. You can book tours for your members. You can even book sleepovers. This facility includes a salmon enhancement program called the Campbell River Hatchery. They offer tours for youth groups & students. Scout groups sometimes come in to camp and to help out on various projects. If you are interested in checking this out, phone and ask for Bob Oswald.
Campfires At The Vogel Farm     "Erlee Acres"
Erik & Lee-Ann have welcomed us to use their campfire area on their farm, at 3849 212th Street, Langley.    Nestled within a forested area, it is well suited for small or large groups of Scouting Folk.   Give them a call to arrange an evening:  604-530-9209
Note: driveway entrance is on 212th St and the exit is on 38th Ave. Any overflow parking must be on 38th Ave (south side of property), as 212th St is a half-road. There is no room to park on it.
